Giant 4 Meter ASW Type RC Glider - What do you think?
Cruising E-bay I saw this Giant 4 Meter Glider on Ebay, what are your thoughts? Looks like a nice plane.

This is what the description reads:
A Genuine Roebers 4 Meter Glider ARF from Germany. Each wing half alone is 74" combine that with the center section of the fiberglass fueslage and you get 154" of wing - 4 meters, or almost 13ft! Wing cord is 9" at the wing root. As far as I can see this is an ASW type glider, as the fuselage, tail and leading edge match the profile. The traling edge of the wing is straight, but the leading edge is broken down into 3 angles. The wing is Obechi over fiberglass, over white foam laminate. The aileron leading edge is cut, you complete by cutting the ends free. The spoiler area and the servo area are also pre routered - clean, neat and factory perfect. The horizontal stablizer, rudder and elevator is also Obechi over white foam. Super strong and true. The fuselage is heavy duty fiberglass with white gel coat - this is not a cheap Chinese ARF, it's traditional German quality. The fuselage is 64" long. The clear canopy is complete and in great shape, minor rub marks, but some plastic polish should do the trick to making it perfect. Canopy is uncut and original to the kit. I am including a lot of extas with this glider such as a complete heavy duty retractable wheel assembly with 3" diameter wheel (I believe it is Grupner). I am also including a pair of Grupner spoilers! These are brand new and fit the wing perfectly, super light weight and again - true German engineering quality. I am including some heavy fiberglass cloth for the retractable gear mounting, as well as covers for the servo arms. Now maybe you are the type to purchase the cheap, get what you pay for Gliders from China . . . or your the modeler who appreciates excellent quality and demands superb flight charectoristics. This is a BMW of Gliders, not a Kia! I fly all electric large scale warbirds, so while I appreciate the model, I am just not a Glider guy, at least not one who would use this and appreciate this as much as it should be. I purchased this a few years ago from a friend of mine thinking I would branch out but I just have not gotten to it. I paid $400. at the time and it was a steal, especially this the extra retract gear and the spoilers. So good luck bidding and enjoy
