What about the models that use a gas/oil mix? Oh and the turbine guys...they use jet fuel and kerosine, don't they? Wait...We can't forget the electric guys, either

I like what a buddy of mine (who's an ATP for Continental) told me one time.. We were out flying around in a Grob 103 and got to talking about the differences between powered and unpowered flight... He summed it up with " You drive an airplane-but you FLY a sailplane!"

Not that I have anything against engines...Heck, if it leaves the ground there's a good chance that I'll like it!

Model planes are real, they're just smaller than full-scale planes.

I found that 12 cells of nicad600's will make a cheap can s400 glow within 1 min of full throttle. First comes brush jumps wich cause 3/4" sparks to flame out top and bottom as the coil hets up to melting temp and starts to burn the insulation. Kinda like a smoke pod!! Its much easier to reconstruck a front section thats been smashed rather than one thats burnt off...hheheheee

As the plane made its decent my brother said "WOW" "its glowing and now its smoking"

Allright, who left the back door open so the lower peasents could get in here.....

Technically our models are only really "models" if they are scale. All the rest are remotley operated UAV's with mission profiles to suit the style of flying they were intended for. Gee, that sounds so impressive and technical don't it....
