Default Radian - 2,000 feet MSL / 55 MPH

Had a lot fun today putting a Garmin Fortrex 101 GPS and a FlyCam2 video camera on my Radian. I balanced it out pretty good, it only took a couple of up clicks, and it was not difficult to fly with the extra weight.

Caught some great thermals. Altitude and Speed graphs below.
Note I am already at about 700 feet, so the differential altitude was 1,300 feet. Still very high

I love this plane.

Great Video, This plane looks like a great choice for my next model and it comes with a great radio!

I'm fascinated with the graphs, but have a question if gdavis is still watching this thread. I notice the graphs only run for 10 minutes. The Radian is capable of flights >45 minutes. Will the Garmin run and capture information that long?

Technology is so cool, I would have never though that our little hobby would get this hi-tech. But it helps track where thermals are encountered and the best places to find them.
