I have a Greensleeves that needs a new motor and s/c. I thought I might take the oportunity to go brushless. My problem is that I have no idea what motor and S/c to purchase. What I need is for someone to tell me is exactly what Brand and model number I need to buy. I am totally illiterate about these sparky things having been a confirmed nitro sniffer for over 40 years.

I have a similar problem. Can't help you, I'm also a "nitro sniffer". You and I completely understand the power output of a glow .46, but when it comes to figuring the requirements for an electric, we're lost.

What are the specs on the airframe? Weight, span etc? I'm new to these electric things as well but I do know that you'll need that info to size the motor to the plane. I've been a confirmed glider guider for years and am just getting into the electric launch thing. I wish we had a good slope site in this area. It would make my life a lot easier!
