NSP sells one that is excellent, maybe cheaper in the end run to buy it than buy the material and sewing it yourself.

get a bright colored dollar store umbrella and trim it down to suit. or some rip-stop nylon from the sewing store and do your own. basic dementions are on any site that sells 'em.

Or just use a strip of rip stop nylon or some other material for a streamer instead of a chute. It will work about the same, bringing the line down downwind and making finding the end easier.

Just a thought, If you use a parachute, weather you buy or make one, After the glider is released from the towline, the 'chute pops open & decends the line nicely laid out in the true direction of the wind. Just one advantage of a proper parachute.
Cheers.
Ray.
