Default Convert Organic to Elec Organic

Has anyone cut the nose cone off at the tip and mounted a firewall for an electric motor. A new fuse and e-stabs are pricey for this bird. Is the elec version a totally new fuse or is it capable of elec mod? John[:-]

I did it with my 30 year old Multiplex Flamingo, and with my Faactor. The process is relatively simple. Figure out what motor you plan to use, so that you know how much room in the nose will be needed. Then make sure you can get a folding prop spinner of the correct diameter to match the fuselage. With the motor and spinner on hand, test fit the motor before you do any cutting. If you make the firewall flush with the cut, then you need to put reinforcement around the firewall on the inside and still clear the motor. If you can recess the firewall about 5-6 mm then you can reinforce on the outside of the firewall.

Here is a shot of my Flamingo.
