THERMIC SNIFFLER ON FEEBAY
Hi guys,
I put up my Ace Thermic Sniffler for sale on the feebay. Trying to gather up enough scratch for a new composite glider so I dug into the collection a bit. OUCH!
290414599177 is the item # hope someone gets it who will use it.
Now if the stinkin' rain will hold off I need to fly sumpin' soon

Can you tell me about the size and weight of the device? How is the transmitter powered? I would like to know if my plane will hold it.

27.195mHz is the freq
the tx goes in the bird and has a pair of antenae (dipole I think is the term ) usually taped to the wings very thin wire with a very small thin single plug on each one so you can disconect the wing without untapeing the wires . 4 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 3/4" i
9v battery is the power source. It should fit into most 2 meter or bigger Woodys. "It ain't gonna fit in no pod though" I did not weigh it but its on the light side.
reciever has an antenae and a clip, its about 1 1/2 times the size of a pack of cigs. ear plug with adj volume control. higher note = climb, base note = descend and suposed to be sensitive.
I read up on these a long time back and they reportedly work just fine, I have not used one.
