Default Flying Wing with Rudder

Hi,

I am looking for plans or preferably the short kit of a flying wing with the small fuse, and rudder, and no elevator like the picture with the young man. I want to build it, but with pre-cut since I have never built one before. I have a hawk glider but it is on hold, because I don't know how to cut the foam. They said from the plans to use something with heat to cut it. Any suggestions?
But the flying wing- can you point me in the right direction?

Thank you very much.

Dean

I think you'll find the flyingwing in the picture is rudder/elevator, look closer.

I think the plane is a Windlord. I saw one flying in the early '80s, flown by Jim Elly(SP?). I think he had a small comany making sailplane stuff. I last saw Jim at a Woody contest in Lancaster, Pa. 3~4 years ago and he slill had his flying wing. You could probably trace him down by getting in touch with the LASS club.

PS I bought the plans for the Wndlord from AMA, I think it's #415.

Skybench Aerotech has exactly what you are looking for:

Click the RES - SPORT - NOSTALGIA link then scroll down to the Windlord kit.

Hi thermalrunner:
I think that is closer to Ken Bates' Windfreak. My (the) Windlord has a constant chord with no back sweep and generous dihedral.

A real pleasure to fly. If you use a yoke with hooks on both sides of fuse, winching is less dramatic/exciting.
Good Luck
Jim
