RE: brake on e.s.c
Your ESC needs to have a "brake" function and it needs to be turned "on".
Most ESC's with a brake will have different strengths of brake available. What ESC do you have? |

Cloudwalker,
If you are worried about your new Radian, the airplane comes with the ESC already set to brake the prop. |
RE: brake on e.s.c
Hi Guys, thanks for your reply. The speed controller is in the parkzone wildcat. Its 18 amp and its an e-flight. thanks. Bill

RE: brake on e.s.c
Generally sport and scale models don't bother with a braking function since they are flying power on most of the time. And when you do stop the prop it's likely because you want it to descend. At such times a freewheeling prop with no power actually provides a nice slowing down function by adding a lot of drag.
And the fact that this is about a scale Wildcat suggests that it should have been in the Scale Electrics forum. |

You know your way round the forums better than I do Matt, sorry I was in the wrong place.
