Flight Mode setups

I have a DX6 Gen3 and a modified HH Conscendo S (with flaperons).
I would like to practice both programming and flying. I would like to program 5 flight modes. Could you help me to complete the following table?
Flap Elev
1. Launch Mode ?% ?%
2. Cruise Mode ?% ?%
3. Thermal Mode ?% ?%
4. Speed Mode ?% ?%
5. Landing Mode ?% ?%

Please indicate values with + or - .
Thanks in advance,
Pisti

Hi
You can not do it in this way :)

If it shall be + or - is about the way your servos are mounted.
The % are depending on the servo arms and horns on the surfaces.

First you must think of what you want in the Launch Mode, and then adjust the flapperons and then adjust the elevator setting after the first flying to get the right trim.

Then the same way on all the flt modes.

Set the trim to flt mode, then you can trim in each flt mode.

Good luck
Soren

Hi,

Thanks for the advice.
With + or - I just wanted to know whether ailerons up or down. For instance for landing there are people who use flapperons, while some people use spoilerons :)

Have a nice day

If it is ailerons lets say from the mid wing to the tip - always up in spoiler position, it makes washout at the same time preventing tip stall. Check out some of the videos mr.Soren have made on landing with different configurations if you can find his utube account, he have some very good videos on it.

Thanks! Videos are really good! :)
I started to build airplanes when I was 7. Later on I took part on competitions as well. Then I stopped.
I am 50 now, and I start it again to frame my life! :)

How is your Conscendo doing by now? I still have one to put together. Heard they might have been discontinued?

Unfortunately, I had Tx-Rx disconnection, and a crash, so
I have retired ...
But, Good luck for you!

Retired for now perhaps, don't burn your bridges - it would be a mistake.
