Gliders-IT
Hi,
Gliders-IT is a manufacture out of Italy. The current owners bought out X-models. I think their models are made in Poland. I've just received my order of a Graecalis. I went with the light version of OD. Its a slope model but I'll put a FES or prop drive on it so I can fly at the flat fields too. These glides are quite strong and I especial like the bigger fuselages for sport flying because they are so easy to work on. I will post more photos as I unwrap it. I don't think I'll get to build it until winter. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...f7cff3938.jpeg |

Here is my Bhyon:

It certainly look like it will be right at home after you push it over a bluff into some good slope lift. It's certainly not a thermal sailplane. But in the right sort of strong slope lift I'll bet you come home with a perma-grin on your face :)

Hi,
I got to fly the Graecalis the first time this past Friday. It is not a thermal glide by any means but it climbs easily. It weights 4.6kg and 57dm of wing area. It was a little sensitive on ailerons. I had them set at 15mm up and 8mm down. I reduced that by ten percent. The flaps are top-hinged so the down thru is only about 45-degrees. It could use a little more. My biggest worry was launching it. But that went well. It was a good day at Grass Mnt. The wind was 12-15mph. The Graecalis climbed as high as anything else that flew that day. |
The Bhyon is a big floater. It climbs like the dickens on at the slope. The wing area is massive.

Hi Jvaliensi
I own the same plane since 3 years and it's still in its package waiting for being assembled because i can't find a good motor setup. Could you tell me the motor, ESC, battery and all the electronics you use on yours? Thank you |

This is the data sheet from my motor combo. I have a 155 YGE ESC but it is oversized and it was what I had on hand. I got the motor, prop, spinner and mounting plate & gear box from Reisenauer in Germany. |
Looks very nice!
