new... planing on getting a trex600e
hey guys, been in and out of r/c all my life, did cars did planes... gonna try heli's now, planning on getting a trex600e kit and just wondered if there was anything i should know...
maybe a 450? pending on funds, and the bigger ones are a bit more stable...
I plan on just flying scale and nothing crazy, maybe go the the flying field here and there to fly with other people...
but just wondered if anyone had any good advice for the trex600
would nitro be cheaper?
going with a spektrum radio.. just lost on stuff as far as lipos and all that, i've been out of it for a while...
Best Regards
Dave

I just have this hk600 (clone) for christmas, some other people says it perform well, and even compairing the two (trex 600), very identical as hk600 is parts compatible with aligh parts. Save a lot of money, go to Hobby King .com and see. I fly flasher 500 right now and flasher 450v2

I am going in cold turkey with a 500. Well sort of, I have just purchased a dx7 and a Phoenix sim. I will get a bit of sim time in and then pull the trigger on the 500. It's pricey but the size and stability of the 500 should help keep the learning curve / frustration to an acceptable level.

Hi Dave
Just got my HK600GT 12s heli done a few weeks ago and because of the weather I have only got a few flights on it and so far I like it a lot. Fly's very close to my Trex600n. I am one of the old guys in here so the bigger size is easier for me to see. I had two trex450 size and sold them both.
600e very nice machine.........my 2 cents

Take a look at the Chaos 600 LE from RC Aerodyne. Its a Trex ESP clone. The HK 600 is a clone of the older CF Trex 600. I've built The trex 600 esp, Trex 600 CF , HK 600 GT and the Chaos 600. My choice would be the Chaos LE.
