Well, first off I have been into land based RC for 6 years, and a couple weeks ago I finally decided I would get into heli's. I decided to start off with a Blade MSR, because I felt that I would grow out of a coaxial heli really fast. I got a BNF MSR, Spektrum DX5e mode 2 transimmter, and a couple 150mah batteries yesterday. I ran about 5 batteries through it just trying to get a stable hover inside last night, along with attempting to adjust my trim to aid the process.
Today around noon, I drove to a local football field that is only 2 miles from the house and brought all my batteries all charged up. Granted, today we had random gusts of wind 3-6 mph, but my excitement to fly the thing again was too unbearable. The whole first battery I used just hovering and adjusting my trim to get a stable hover with no wind gusts. Which brings me to my first question... I had to adjust the trim a good bit to get a stable hover. It was mostly just keeping the tail in place. Is this normal?
2nd question... This afternoon before dark, when everything was perfectly still outside, I brought it out for 2 more full battery flights. I had to adjust the trim again (slightly) to get a stable hover. But the thing I'm concerned the most with is after flying straight forward 20 foot, while 10 foot in the air it will start to bank right every time. Almost after the exact same distance of flying forward; 20 foot.I think this may be coming from the excessive trim I'm using for the tail, or either the super glue I have on the canopy. (I cracked the canopy last night in a rather violent crash) So I laid a little bead of super glue over the crack on the right side of the canopy. Although, I don't think it could even be over half a gram.
Any input is welcome!
Thanks,
Cody

Ihave a mSR also and it never seems to fly right if Itake it outside. The smallest of breeze affects it. Ijust figure it's an indoor heli only. I will say though....Ihardly ever have to adjust the trim. The parts are so small you may have something that came loose or is out of place that you can't see. Take a real good look at everything to make sure everything is in place. The few times after crashes where the heli acted funny it was always something that was loose or something that was an easy fix. Good luck!!
