Default Porpoising hover

I notice that when I hover my heli porpoises up and down. Is this normal? Obviously im steady on the throttle. Is this a setup issue, maybe the battery etc?

One foot or more off ground is enough to be out of wash. Could be any of a variety of things:

Are you hovering inmid stick ? Wasit windy ?How are your pitch curves, sometimes and aggresive neg. pitchwill dothis when youslow the throttle stickjust a bit,
sinks to the ground and instictively yourev up again.

How is your battery, weak or defective batt. will cause all kinds of weird things.

Glitchy servos ?

Worn, too stiff or non lubricateddampers, but usually they induce nose bobbing.

Hope this helps.
