Default Esky Honey bee main rotor problem

I'm new to electric helis, so have bought a used Esky Honey Bee to practice with. The problem that I have is that as soon as I connect battery to helicopter with transmitter turned on, the main rotors turn at full speed and light on 4 in 1 controller turns red. If I disconnect main rotor motor connection from controller, the tail rotor spins correctly and is controlled by throttle on transmitter. If I plug main rotor connecter in to tail rotor connection on controller, the main rotor behaves correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas. I apologise now if this something I'm doing incorrectly, but as I said it's my first time with both electric power and helicopters.
