I know this original post is pretty old, but what do you mean by "shoots up"?
I've noticed that the throttle/pitch on my nano CPS tends to wander up and down. I'm not sure of the cause, but I'm suspecting something wonky in the receiver/motor controller. At $65 for a new receiver board, I'm going to try to live with it as long as possible.
