Starting out first Drone (quadcopter)?
I've been into the RC cars arena for years and now want to try out quadcopters since they interests me. I dont mind spending a few bucks for a decent RTF unit with bells and whistles, but am I going overboard? I have been looking initially at the Syma x8hw, but for about another $100 I can get the Inland CX20 aka Cheesan CX20 which has the more features (Full GPS Functionality including Return to Home, Altitude Hold and Direction Lock, is compatible with Mission Planner) you can grow with.

Inland CX20: http://www.microcenter.com/product/4...PS_RTF_-_White
Please let me know your thoughts...
Many thanks

Step 1: Know what you are getting into. FAA has very specific rules for drone operation.
Step 2: Buy whatever lights your fire.
Step 3: Register your drone with the FAA (mandatory if over .55 lbs.)
Step 4: Know before you fly.
