RE: Snow sucks
You don't want to be up here. We are going to break the record from '71 this year. It's something like 330cm, and we are passing the 290cm mark this weekend.......
At least any crashes are softer.....perfect time to practice inverted. You got to look on the positive side or you'll go nuts.

RE: Snow sucks
hey.. I found 2 good things about snow!
1. Newbie + snow = crash proof [I crashed well over 10 times and nothing damaged] (It was cool watching it though, once it accudentally flew upside down for couple seconds before crashing. I swear it wasn't me.. it was the wind lol)
2. HBK2 stock motor + cold weather. Usually if I fly HBK2 indoor for a minute, even the heat sink can cook something. When i fly it outdoor, it's as cool as Brush Less ones.

RE: Snow sucks
The 4th day after I got my First Heli, Snow covered 40cm, I can give you a picture of a hill of snow thats about 1.3m high if you want. That's from plowing my driveway lol. Once I went to Sudbury ON Canada, I was in a motel and overnight snow literally covered the way out of 1st flr in the building. I got a free room for that day lol. [but no free breakfast] If I get to go back, I'm bringing my helis lol.

whats snow?
whats snow?
The way I see it, if it snows where you live, either get a snow shovel & dig your way out all winter, or move to somewhere more sane where you don't have to bother with it.

RE: Snow sucks
what do you know? it snows again! It's been melting for the whole seek and now it's covering up to 30cm... BTW, I gave up on my Imax HHgyro for my HBK2, it just won't stop spinning. I think since no one sounds like they're ever using that gyro here, I guess it sucks.
I just got 2250mah 20c 11.1v with such a good deal (32 bucks brand new) for my Belt-CP. Does anyone know how long this one can fly without dropping too much electricity?

Snow is a white, powdery form of frozen winter rain. If you live right, you can drive to it, play in it, leave it there and go home. If you really screw up bad and happen to live where it falls around your house and town, you have to shovel it in order to get outta your driveway & out into the street. If you park your car outdoors when it snows, you may have to dig it out in order to drive home.
The way I see it, if it snows where you live, either get a snow shovel & dig your way out all winter, or move to somewhere more sane where you don't have to bother with it.

I apreciate your explanation of snow however.
Maybey i should leave sarcasim out in the future.

RE: Snow sucks
I've seen this happen at a few other forums too: a sarcastic comment about snow tends to create sarcastic comments about hurricanes, tsunamis, draught or sharks.... hmmm, we don't have earthquakes in my area either.
