Beginner Setup
Ok...I'm going to lay it down for you guys. I need some help on setting up my first heli. I really don't want to have to buy a new heli for a long time, so this is what I have to far:
Heli: TT Raptor 30 w/ 49BB
Engine: O.S. .32
Radio: Hitec/RCD Eclipse 7
Gyro: JR G410T
Servos
Cylic: (2) Futaba S9252
Collective: Futaba S9252
Tail: S9253
Throttle: S9101
So what do you think? Please let me know. Thanks.

Misanthro,
Your off to a good start there, go with what Fitenfyr says, get some good BB servo's in it, dont need digitals,
Im running the 605's in mine with a JR8103 and a futaba501. I am very happy with this combo, Oh, and the stock TT36 engine with a weston pipe, very powerful!

Good choices so far....
As for the Radio, toss a coin for either the Futaba 9CHP or the JR8103. The only mitigating factor would be to get the radio which is most used by the flyers in your area since you will need their help, both in setting up the heli as well as buddy cording you later on when you get to your first circuits.
Just don't upgrade the heli... fly it bone stock with woodies until you can fly your first circuits.
