Just bought this Heli on Ebay. Its new in box but I am still a beginner. Anybody have any advice before it arrives here on how to set it up or what to practice.[X(] I don't have a sim, but I have been flying the cx2 for about three weeks and like it but feel I can control it exaclty how I want it, and want to go bigger.

if you have the extra cash get the dx6i radio and the 6100 reciever
i dont have this heli but with all 6 channel heli`s you need to do some preflight setup`s
go through the head make sure the swashplate is level
make sure you have full movement in the servo`s
do a tail preflight setup
just everything that makes the heli fly you will need to go over do proper adjustments
yiu can go to helifreak.com theres a guy i think they call him fineless or something like that, that has some youtube video`s on setup and preflight adjustments
did you buy plenty of parts if not you`ll want too
get atleast 2 of everything that deals with the servo`s and the head

Thanks. I haven't bought spare parts yet because I don't have the bird yet, but when I get the parts list and some more cash thats my next purchase. If you run across any more info on this heli please let me know.

just stick with the stock blades, buy a couple pair,315mm i think
tools)
just some basic allen wrench`s
phillips screw drivers
neddle nose plier`s
balancer is need only if you buy 3 dollar blades, if you get the original equipment then dont worry abut it

I recently bought one of these second hand. It took me a while to check it all out and set it up. 3 sets of blades, 2 fly bars, 1 feathering shaft and 2 main gears later i finally got it off the ground. It seems like the rotor blades are out of stock all over the world, so ended up using 325 mm blades, they seem to be plentiful.. I found these to make the bird more stable for a beginner.
