Hello all,
I recently bought a Kalt enforcer ZR from the board (all went Very well).
It has a SuperTigre .34 H and has recently developed a quirk.
With a fresh, new glowplug, the first tank runs excellent.
Next tank starts and runs fine untill I remove the ignitor.
New glowplug, runs great.
I have pulled the motor apart and did an extensive cleaning, to no avail.
Also, mix was adjusted from to rich to run, to to lean to run, one click at a time.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance, Brian
BTW, the firs 5-7 tanks ran perfect. Nothing was changed.

more info please - what is your quirk? if its just going through glow plugs, maybe they are the wrong type.
we would need to know what the engine is doing that makes you think that the problem is engine related.
is it too hot, cold, smoky, crackling noise, using plugs, what type of plugs, what fuel, what % nitro, in hover or fwd flight, does it idle ok, etc etc etc.........
sorry but we need more info to help......

From: London,
Also check what voltage your glowstarter is putting out - maybe you are frying the glowplugs. It might last one start, but after the second start you melt it.
Also remember that on the first start the engine is cold, and will tolerate a slightly richer setting. If the engine is warm, and setting too rich, it can just quit when you remove the glow starter.
An engine simply quitting when you remove the glowstarter is often a sign of a mixture too rich because the extra fuel smothers the glow plug, yet with the glowstarter on the glowplug is hot enough to burn the fuel.
But as VORTEXGEN said, can you give more info?

Sorry I wasn't very specific.
With a new glow plug, the engine runs fine from idle all the way up, and back down again.
When the tank is fueled up for a second run on the same plug, it will die when the ignitor is removed, no idle or any thing else.
If I put a new plug in, the second tank runs fine, and so on throughout the day.
I am running a standard plug, 10% cool power, no exsesive smoke, no odd noise, nothing out of the ordinary, it just dies.
Ignitor voltage is fine, as when I pull the plug, it glows fine.
Help, and thanx.
Brian
