Can you identify this helicopter?
I recently sort of inherited this model. Can anyone identify it? I am also open to any and all suggestions. Should I try to restore it and fly or just discard it? How did it fly? Does anyone have a manual for it? Should I change heads/blades?
Thanks for the input.

RE: Can you identify this helicopter?
Cant help identify it but why would you discard it? I am not a pack rat but a nostalgic item like that would be hanging in my garage or donated to the LHS to hang from the ceiling.

It's an American R/C Revolution available from Tower Hobbies in the late 70s. The company was in an aircraft hangar and went out of business when the hangar got hit by a full scale plane.
John Simone was the owner.
Tower Hobbies sold them in red and blue.

It might be worth restoring for display but I wouldn't try to fly it. Parts are not available unless you find another one like that and they never flew very well to begin with. As for changing the head etc you're just better off getting a modern design if you want to learn to fly then get back to that one later.
EBay would probably fetch a few bucks from a collector, heck I wouldn't mind having it for that matter
