Default Drain fuel

Hi guys,

I just recently purchased a raptor and it came with about a half a tank of fuel in it.I do not intend on using the copter right away and was wondering if letting the fuel remainin thetank with do any harm?

Thanks,

Default RE: Drain fuel

It depends on how long you are going to leave it there, and if the pick-up is a fuel magnet or a regular clunk.

If it is a regular clunk and you are going to store it for a few weeks, then you might want to drain out the fuel. If the clunk is a fuel magnet and /or you are going to store it just ONE week, then I would not worry about it. Since you do not know how long the fuel that is already in there has been there, I would definitely drain it out before putting more in and trying to fly it.
