Newbie checking in !

Hi all !
First off let me say thank you for this great forum and all of your informative posts ive been lurking on here as a guest for a few months now and the amount of information here is amazing.

I have about 2 months of experience after getting the bug seeing some planes in flight. I started on planes and found it for the most part...boring. Im sure it was mostly due to the style opf planes I bought a Super Cub and a Apprentice 15e. The Apprentice is now in the foamy graveyard after a wingbroke in mid airand a crash into the street from about 150 foot in the air. I beleive a large wind gust was at fault but that made me move onto my new love....helicopters !!!!

A week ago I purchased the Blade MCX and the Blade MCX2 both very beginner friendly and very easy to fly both very different in flight characteristics. The MCX felt more stable on turns and a bit slower overall and the MCX2 while faster would wobble on almost any tighter turn. I got desent a spot landings on boxes and was getting..bored again !!!! Yesterday I purchased the Blade MSR and the Blade SR120. Let me tell you there is no looking back now !!!!! Flying the MSR is so much fun and feels like I am piloting a heli and not a toy. Constant input is needed and Im slowly learning movements vs orientation of the heli. Another thing the MSR is surprisingly fast !!!!! The SR120 i just did a hover with and put it away till I get use to the handling of the MSR....now if I can just get the side to side movement down ill be set LoL.

Again thanks to all you members here the information you provide is priceless !!!

Hey DPete !!! I know how those plans go...atleast for me anyhow. Coaxial type heli vs the MSR are likenight and day but and both are great training tools.
Have fun get it out of the box and let me know how it goes...its a blast !

Hay there I started with a cheep coax heli and went to a blade 120sr been flying it for about 7 monthes just got a blade sr not having much luck with it. I reacently got a dx6i and a friend who has planes he told my to use it in airpland mode for fixed pitch heli's? Is this right or should I try to set for heli and if so does any one know good settings. I seen to have my hands full with the new controler I was even flying it with a light wind the other day.
