help with oscilating skylark

i have just recieved a second hand skylark. This was all set up wrong and i have now set it up as best i can. the problem now is the rotors/paddles are oscinating like crazy when at any more than 1/2 throttle. I do not know what angle the paddles need to be set at. the rod between the paddles seems to have been broken at 1 end so i need to know how long this should be. i have had it off the groung a number of times but within 5 seconds it goes out of control (now just my controlling). could someone please help me with these problems.
Thanks in advance.

Need more info: Radio, gryo, mms, ems, etc ?
If you give more info one or several top heli pilots will be
able to help you. The fly bar paddles should be level.
If your talking about the heli shaking bad at 1/2 throttle.
This could be blade balance, wrong head pitch/speed or something
mechanical(bent spindle/main shaft). The oscilating could be
several things(tail rotor blades turning wrong way, gyro not
set in right direction, ruder servo is reversed ect.
