Wit's End
Okay - now I am truly at my wit's end!
I now have a brand new MCX2 and it works perfectly when using the 120 mAh li-po battery that comes with it. HOWEVER, when using a brand new (tried 3 now) 150 mAh li-po batteries, it will not fly forward or reverse (all other controls work - hover, left and right, sideways, up and down, etc.). What the heck?! How is this possible - am I losing my mind?! I KNOW these copters work with these larger capacity batteries - my other MCX2 did extremely well before with those larger batteries. I am ready to pull my hair out and drop kick this hobby to the trash for good. Please - any insight here? Thanks again for y'all's patience - I wish I was not losing mine... |
RE: Wit's End
this probably isnt it, but any opinions is better than none. how long are you flying it on the bigger batteries? seems like on our small electrics we have to burn off some of the battery before things seem to calm down. doubt this is the solution, but never hurts to speak up.

RE: Wit's End
Try calling Tech support. They may be able to help diagnose what's going on and they know a lot about these babies we don't.
Certainly hard to diagnose that type of problem on this forum. Do try Tech support. They are very good and you can even have them call you back rather than waiting on hold. Mack |
RE: Wit's End
Thanks Mack - did just that - they called back and helped diagnose - I had the longer battery pushed too far in the copter - must have been rubbing up against the mechanism preventing forward/reverse - easy fix.
