Heli help

I have been
I have been flying rc airplanes for 5 years. It is in my blood. I am on gallon 16 in fuel this year. Now I want to get into heli flying.
I allready fly fixed pich heli. I want to get a EXI 450 From xheli.com. Do I need any Metal gear servos? And is the pro EXI a better choice? Plus Any other adwise on parts would be great. Knowing me i will progress fast flying the heli. My world is all about RC.
Thanks Tom[8D]

If you are so immersed into RC and progress quickly why not start with something bigger then. It does not cost much more to go into a 550 sized heli like my Swift NX then it does into a 450 sized heli. But the Swift NX is much easier to keep oriented through maneuvers so you will find that you will progress much faster and crash less. Another consideration is that it uses standard sized servos so as you progress into larger helis you can use the same electronics.

You will find a lot of info relating to them here:

Concur, go as big as you can afford. Any 550-600 nitro or electric would be a good choice. You will not get a true feel of what a helo can offer till you fly the larger ones. Even the 450s are difficult to master.
