They are worth what you pay for them. Easy to fly indoors only, will with stand alot of crashes & abuse! When you shift to a real model helicopter, you will have the problem of the tail rotor is now on the left stick, not the right! Good luck!

That is why you DO NOT GET ONE!!

Had a coaxial syma one of the 400 size ones.

Tried to fly MCPX.

Didn't fly for a year to un-learn bad habits from that phreaking heli.

1 Year later, buys MCPX, now flys 450s.

Don't do it.

RE: Syma

They are toy grade.
As florida AKM said – indoors only. This is a case where bigger and more expensive is actually worse – the bigger ones still won’t fly outdoors, and they’re too big to fly indoors.
As far as quality, the symas at $20 – 25 and below are worth the money.
So the question left is will you enjoy playing with a limited control toy (and there’s nothing wrong with that) or are you looking for a hobby grade?
If you want hobby grade, then no, and I don’t even like suggesting a 4 channel coaxial – they get boring real fast.
