RCU Forums - Technical help wanted

Hi, I have a 2008 Beanstock Tornado 4 -CH. It is old but never been out the box. Forst, never came on at all. I have replaced the battery and it is charging up now, remote connects to it, helicopter lights come on. However, as soon as I try first rev of the blades, the blades morw very slightly, gives a little click and cuts out. I have to turn it off then on again but keeps doing the same thing. Could this be the motor? Any way of testing and fault finding further.
Any help would be appreciated
