What would be a good piezo gyro

What would be a good HH piezo gyro for a noob, I know everyone says a 401 is a good buy but i just would like some more imput before i make up my mind. I have a Raptor 50 v2 and a JR x 378 with four NES-591 ball-raced servos and an R700 PPM seven channel receiver, also can you mix different makes of Servos etc.

Thanks in advance.

A Potts

I think 401 is a good choice (it's what I use).

My Ergo 30 uses Futaba RX, 401 gyro with 9253 servo and 3 JR servos on CCPM. Seems pretty good to me!

You don't want a cheap gyro in a good heli. If you go with a $50 gyro today, it won't do what you want it to tomorrow and you will end up ordering the 401 anyway. You might as well save the money and frusteration and get the good one now.

GY401 with 9253 Servo. Great combo. Look no further.

If you are on a budget though... ANY gyro is better than no gyro. Even the cheapie $50 ones help some. (and they are all about the same at that price)

Yep if you got the $$$ get the 401. If all you can afford is the Hobbico Peizo... do it.

In order of cost:

GWS PG-03 (rate gyro only)
CSM HLG200 (heading hold only)
Futaba GY240 (rate and heading hold)
Futaba GY401 (rate and heading hold settable from Tx)

You pays your money and you takes your choice!
