ELECTRIC HEIL FOR BEGINNER
 

I AM LOOKING FOR A ELECTRIC HELI THAT IS CHEEP AND EASY TO FLY. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE HUMMINGBIRD V2 AND IT SEEMS GOOD. I TALKED TO SOME GUYS THAT I KNOW THAT HAD ONE AND THEY SAID IT WAS CRAP. BUT I THINK THAT THEY HAD THE VERSION 1. IS THERE REALLY ANY DIFFERENCE. THEY THINK THAT I SHOULD GET A CORONA BUT THOSE ARE PRITTY EXPENCIVE. SOULD I GET A MICRO OR WHAT. WHAT DO YOU THINK

First, the Hummingbird V2 isn't crap. Whoever told you that must not know anything about helicopters. I wouldn't call it crap because I crashed it on my first flight with it. No matter what Helicopter you decide to get, you will still need to seek coaching and training. For a first helicopter, I'd go with the Dragon fly. There is a guy selling one right now on Ebay for $194. Rtf, with an extra battery and with a crash kit. I think this little indoor helicopter is about the easiest it gets. It's only a four channel. But like I say, it can still be destroyed in a blink of an eye if not careful.

i hada a helicopter, 4 channel that was even EASIER then a dragonfly
it was called a bumblebee, i dunno if they make them anymore, but it had fibreglass tail and main rotors, and it was all set up just like a normal rc choppa, with the tail and main rotors geared, then it had a 280 motor, bu it had 4 motor mounts so you could add extra motors for extra power, its flying weight was 450gramms and it didnt get any easier then that.

although because they dont sell them anymore you are probly gonna be better off wtih a dragonfly, on ebay they are going for $200AUSD ready to fly
