pitch question?
 
when you are setting the pitch , how do you know if you are setting it to positive or negative degrees . i have a airtronics RD8000 radio thanks Larry

I don't really understand what you are asking. Your pitch gauge will tell you the positive and negative pitch.

When you setting the pitch, + will have the leading edge pointing slightly up from horizontal, - will be pointing slightly down from horizontal.

The important point here is that you must measure the pitch using a guage. It's not enough to eyeball it as the difference between hovering and climbing is extremely tiny.
