noob needs help big time

im a total noob. i brought the E-sky about 2 weeks ago. i got it out the box and charged up the batteries and just thought ,lets give it a go. crashed it 4 times in 10 mins. i then had to wait 2 weeks for the spares to turn up b4 i could try to fly it again. in the 2 weeks i found this website. it's ****hot, loads of info. in the 2 weeks i couldnt even attempt to fly it . i plugged in my controll to fms and started to practice on the computer. on the computer im just about able to fly. but i dont even know if my controler is mode 1 or 2 but my throttle is on the left. now on fms all i needed to do was push the trottle to the left and it started to take off. now on my E-sky all that does is make the tail blade spin faster. i have 2 push the left stick straight up. but i cant set it up right. the heli wants to spin 1 way or the other. there is no happy medium. what can i do to sort this. i love my heli and i am determined to fly this think properly so i can get a raptor 30 or something. but 1 step at a time. i was told if i can fly this then i'll find it easier to fly a petrol heli. please please help. and also can someone post the link for radds school cause i had to format my computer cause it kept crashing like my heli lol, and lost the website.

sounds like you have your channels a little screwy and although you are doing well on the simulator, its wash because you have different controls on your heli.

The left stick is your throttle/collective. This is the up and down motion that makes you lift off. Pushing it left or right spins the heli to face different directions.(on a normal setup) When grounded if you push it to one side and the tail spins, i believe this is normal. It is supposed to do that to compensate in the air. Someone else can explain that better but i know its normal.

I am no guru. I am still waiting for my Aerohawk, which is on backorder for the past month and 1/2 from hobby-lobby. I'm sure someone else could explain this a little better but since i saw you have 0 replies i figured i would give it a go. And in the interim, bump your post.;)

Good luck to you..

RE: noob needs help big time

i read a post about the e-sky a while back saying the best way to trim this heli is to apply full throttle and trim it in the air. this has worked for me. as my e-sky takes off it wants to turn but as soon as its full throttle it sorts its self out and holds still well still ish it still goes off to the right but it dont spin wildly now. so im getting there in setting it up. also i now need to wait for my 3 new tail blades cause these seem to snap all the time on my e-sky. y couldnt the main blades break cause ive got loads of these spare. has anyone else found this problem with the e-sky. ive been through 4 of these already and havent had my e-sky long
