Ugh... Aerohawk Problems

1 Attachment(s)
OK, I just got an Aerohawk today. I set it up, charged the battery for about 2 hours, 15 min. But when I tried it, all it did was sit there, with the main and tail rotor spinning, even at full throttle. After a while it tipped over on its side, so i turned the transmitter off, and then the main blades just kept spinning. I dont know if I blew out part of the motor or not, but some smoke was coming out of it [X(], but it was still working afterwards. It just never left the ground [&o]. Luckily, the blades only have one minor scratch:eek:. I don't know if maybe I put the blades on backwards, but thats what it showed in the directions. I can still smell some of the smoke. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I uploaded a picture of the blades.
(easy to fly my foot.)

Thanks, I wasn't too sure about the blades. I think I might know what I did wrong.

An easy way to tell is if your not creating any lift. ie. no air being pushed in a downward direction. Maybe you got the wire for the main motor on backward?

I tried the smartech stock main motor on my jabo2, the helicopter lifted 6 feets height at full throttle and it stayed at that height for only 3 seconds before dropping back down to the ground and only hovered 3 inches off the ground for the rest of the battery pack of 7 minutes. I went through 6 packs before I tried the second new smartech stock main motor. Same thing happened. It just hovered 3 inches off the ground. Then I went back to the original jabo2 main motor. Everything went back to normal. I can't count on the smartech main motor for lift.

I run Venom blades on mine. They provide alot more lift.
