recommendations please
 

I got a corona 120M and I need a recommendation can someone point me to where a good gyro is I need one and also a charger.
I have a battery pack its a 7cell Ni-Cd 8.4v 1400mah would this work for it? Thanks to anyone who replies

A great gyro to go with is a Futaba Gy 240. It's going to run roughly $100 or so, you may be able to find a used one for less. If you have a heli radio, someone is selling an unused GY 401 on www.rcgroups.com for only $105 shipped. A great all in one charge to have is the Triton, a new one will cost roughly $130. You can charge nicads, nimh, lithium and lead batteries. If you weren't looking to spend that much, I believe the Duratrax Piranha I"ve heard is pretty good for nicads and nimh and it's about $50.

Your battery pack is ok but the flight times will be very short, probably only a couple of minutes if that. GP 3300's are good cells and Sanyo hrsc 2600 are also great. Sanyo RC 2400's nicads pack a lot of punch and are durable as well...

is this a good gyro Revolution Sport Piezo Helicopter Gyro - RVO PZ200
the hobby shop I bought my corona 120 said this is what they used in theres and it works great with it. so does anyone know about this type of gyro or anything useful about it thanks

I never heard of that one but I would highly recommend a Futaba gy 240, many many happy gy 240 users on all the forums. Can't go wrong with one. Spend a few bucks more and get something you know is solid, you will be happy you did. That hobby shop may be suggesting it because it's what they sell, I'm not saying it's not good because I haven't heard of it but I know for a fact that a Futaba gy 240 is a great gyro.
