Aerohawk not responding

I just received my Aerohawk today. I am defintely a newbie to R/C anything. Anyway, I have a Mode 2 Transmitter 35 mHz with throttle on left (the crystal on the transmitter and receiver on helicopter match). I turn on the transmitter (which shows good power) and then plug in the battery pack on the Aerohawk. The red LED lights up and then...nothing. It doesn't respond to any control movement whatsoever. I tested the main roter and tail rotor by plugging them directly to the battery pack and they both start spinning.

Is there any testing I can do? I don't know if the transmitter is transmitting and I don't know if the receiver is receiving.

On my Aerohawk, behind the pcb there are 7 rows of pins, 3 pins in each row. The top 4 rows have plugs in them and the wire colors for each row are as follows:
Orange/Red/Orange
Orange/Red/Orange
Black/Red/White
Black/White

Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric

You will probably get a faster answer if you post this question in the electric forum.

1 Attachment(s)
Attached pic of Aerohawk Receiver board

4 connectors
Top one is the tail
next down is the throttle
then servo at rear (Tilts rotor head forward/backward)
then servo on side (Tilts rotor head side to side)

maybe you've got a different board - if you've got 7 rows, each with 3 pins
Can you post up a picturee - maybe somebody will recognise it

Here are two pictures. One of the receiver showing the rows of pins and the second the opposite side showing the pcb board. (Hope the pics come through)
