hi ive just bought the #35 can someone please tell me will it ever take off it seems to just start lifting then it just tips ive already smashed the rotors and ive only had it 2 days. please help thanks[&o]

I have the walkera #35 and just learning to hover in different directions with it. Need to adjust it carefully and it will fly great, even when it's a bit windy outside. If you are trying to fly the heli with the 650mAh NiMH battery which is included you will be out of luck though, works only for sliding on the floor. I am hovering at an altitude of about 1 meter ~ 3 feet and it took a while for me to get there, mostly because I didn't dare to give it some throttle.

Another tip: Go through Radd's school of rotary flight, it has helped me alot when it's coming to understand how the heli responds to the stick inputs. It took me around 2 weeks to go through it. Hopefully you have a lipo-battery when you're ready to lift of, I have a 2200mAh Lipo and it works great, about 20 mins of flight time.

Well first you will need to check the entire thing over make sure all screws are tight, make sure that the gears are all meshing correctly, this is not an RTF machine. Check the blade tracking blade balance, servo travel etc.. The reason it is not lifting off and tiping over is likely due to the main rotor pitch. If you look on the transmitter in the upper right side there is a silver dial this is the blade pitch, you will want to set this to about 1/4 from the bottom on the left side. (-O) this should be good for learning to hover. Go very slowly use the training gear and just keep getting to the point before lift off and control it do this for several charges and this way you can check everything and make sure there are no vibrations etc. PM me if you have any other questions.
