Hi Jerry,
Just a thought, but you might want to take your phone number off of that post. If I want to contact someone, I use the Private Message to send my phone number. That way, it is not out there for any and everyone to find. I might be a bit apranoid about that, but I like to be careful.

Now, about your heli. Which heli did you get?
Vince

You picked a good heli to start with.
Most of my experience is with electrics (OK, ALL of my experience, except watching my brother fly his nitro, and reading about them here)

RE: heed help learning to fly

Jerry, Me TOO! I waited until I was 63 before getting bit by the heli bug, but now that I have, I can't get my CoCo Lama to do ANYTHING that makes me think I might eventually be able to fly it. It is just all over the place and inconsistent and scary( parts are NOT cheap ). So, I too need some hands on help so if there's anybody living in S.W. Missouri, who would be willing to help out a newbie ( gobs of hours with fixed wing) please contact me and we can see if where you live and I live are doable as far as getting together. Thanks guys, cause I know there are lots of good guys in R/C and I just need one with a little time to spare.
