hovering

I fly with thumbs, because that's what I'm used to.

I seems to have a little difficulty keeping the helicopter completely stable in a hover. Will *****g out the exponential to make it soft around the center help?

Any ideas? Thanks

You don't want to get too carried away. I tried thumbs only and found myself pinching the sticks to get better control. Now I fly thumbs on my planes, pinch on my helis.

Try to adjust your helicopter - trimming. [link=http://www.4-rc-helicopter.com/index.php?action=show&cat=11]Check this out, may be helpful for you[/link]

RE: hovering

i can't (nor have i ever) been able to fly as i like to call it 'Dumb Thumb' I've always held the sticks between my fingers. i also have the sticks as short as possible, my flying buddy has his sticks all the way out and actually put longer knobs on as well and when i fly anything of his the long sticks make it feel like it has a ton of expo dialed in (we both use PCM 10X Heli TXs). lengthen your sticks some, this makes your fingers have to move farther to get the same input, it's just like expo, but it's linear.
