RE: gyro setup
Play around with the length of the tail rotor pushrod. That helped me when I was dealing with the same issue on my RCE-500X gyro

ORIGINAL: ground killer hay everyone well as you know iv been dealing with a gyro, the futaba g190. i know it works but im having some problems getting it to work well enough to get the heli in the air the heli spins eather left or right i cant find center, is there a place i can go on the net to find out if im missing something "witch is usually the case" iv looked through helifreek but he has the 401 set up not the g190 i have put in a request for him to do a vid for it but that may take a wile thanks for the help Step 7, Gyro Operation Direction. If the rudder servo moves to the left (gives a nose left response) when the nose of the helicopter turned to the right, the gyro direction is correct. If the servo moves in the opposite direction, reverse the gyro upside down. * If you try to fly the helicopter while the gyro operation direction is wrong, the nose will swing to the right or left. Apparently by the description, the G190 does not have a reversing switch so in order to reverse the gyro output, it needs to be mounted upside down to how it is currently mounted. |
