beginner problem? please comment
 

Ive been wanting a little mini copter for about a year now, and I first had a cheap rip off that broke off the tail called the small butterfly, but I then got the Havoc Heli from spinmaster and I tried to fly it with a paperclip but crashed a whole bunch of times. Then, after one crash the bottom of the tail went a bit bendy on the picture that i uploaded. It is a bit loose and im afraid if i touch it, it might fall off. It still flies, but should i be worried about it? Thanks for reading.

About your problem, usually this happens because you land too hard on a hard surface. It honestly isn't much of a problem as long as you are not crashing. Mainly what it does is keep the tail rotor from hitting the ground and breaking. If you are still crashing, you'll probably want to fix it. The key with this heli is that lighter is better, so you might just try some super glue to get it, or if that doesn't work, use a short length of kite string and get it a little wet with super glue. That will hold just about anything, but again the secret is the lighter the better.

If you wanted to try something else, you could also try drilling out that hole just a bit and then regluing the skid, which will end up making the tail skid a bit shorter, but it still should have plenty of clearance. if not, run down to walmart and pick ya up another one for $30 bucks

thanks for the information. Ill see what i can do about trying to use superglue. It still flys pretty well, so im not sure ill spend another 30 just yet. :D

I think what you are saying the little carbon rod that slides into the rudder broke off at the top right? Like the other fellow said you can drill out and then just push the carbon rod up a little and reglue it with CA. I had one that broke there and it was a good as new and still fly it occasionally. Have fun.
