Realflight Controller Question

I just bought my first heli (Lama V4) and have read that folks suggest spending time in the simulators. I see that the Lama comes with a simulator. Does anyone know if this is the same as the Esky FMS that I see on Ebay.

Also, I was looking at purchasing Realflight 3.5. Will the controller that I get with my Esky work with Realflight? If so, will I need to use the cable that comes with the Esky controller or the Realflight controller? Also, the controller that comes with Realflight, what is that? Is it a 6 channel?

The reason I ask is that I would rather use a better sim (Realflight) with the same controller I acutally use to fly (touch and feel issue).

Thank you.

RE: Realflight Controller Question

The esky sim is the same as FMS

You can use your tx with real flight (even though the tx's are very similar to the one you have) but you need to connect your tx to the real flight one and you need to use batteries in your tx. If you use the real flight one it gets its power from the usb port. Yes the real flight tx is a standard 6ch.

Try Phoenix, you won't be disappointed. You are not forced to buy a useless game controller.

Best place to buy it is online direct, people are reporting 4 days delivery to the USA.

it's not useless, have you even tried real flight? it was rated above phoenix for beginners. personally i'd rather put wear and tear on a sim tx than my own $300 one.

I agree with Druss, I can be rough sometimes on my sim when I get frustrated, better to work that frustation out on the comp before using your good equipment.
