Is this normal?
 

This is my first helicopter and today was the first day we (we as in my dad and I) got the thing started and we tracked the blades. When we power up it shakes some and the blades r out of track. Then when we power up alittle more it stops and the blades r in track again. We have a JR Venture CP .30. Feel free to point anything or give some hints or tips.

it will shake a little until the head gets up to speed. it shouldn;t shake to the point it does the chicken dance though.
i have learned to track my blades when the rpms are up. hope this helps

o yeah i got another question too. when the heli is idling is it okay for the blades to spin???

your blades will want to tend to spin when you start the heli.
you probably feel the clutch shoes wanting to grab. your blades will spin at idle but it shouldn't be to fast.
