Something different
I'm going to build a 30 size co-axial nitro powered but I have one question. Can I eliminate the stabilizer bar on top and make the blades static to the shafts will this create any problems or make it unstable. I also have an idea how to make this bird work well outdoors and at that size it needs to. Thanks guys for any imput

RE: Something different
Yes fixed pitch is about the only way I can do this and hope for success otherwise it could be really tough to do. Mind you though collective would ge fun and making a Co-axial 3D would be a challenge but that would mean a lot of investment in time and money. But I bet it can be done,Thanks for asking Jim

RE: Something different
Thank you I got some good ideas from this. I will make mine so that the pitch is controlable and mine will move quickly left to right and forward and backwards.I believe I have the design that will let this bird fly in the wind outdoors. Right now I'm scoping out parts for my gear box, this is going to be great!
