FMS interface cable

Ok - so I have the Blade 400 RTF.

I have downloaded and installed the FMS simulator.

Now where do I get the cable to plug my transmitter into my pc?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Craig

RE: FMS interface cable

Sure some use there own stock transmitter with hookups to work on the FMS Simulator, I elected to get the control box at around $25 so not to tie up or use the battery transmitter etc, but your choice, not much more investment you can get the controller...but here's one of likely many threads on this:

And if you wish to do the separate control box $25, one is towerhobbies

Good luck on the Blade 400, if your not aware check the Radd method for taming these highly responsive CPS, perhaps the best self instructions available, really helped me avoid some of the crash progression ...Its the Best ..<>..

Radd, know it, breath it, memorize it, it works !! Battery One !!!!

Thanks Philip,

I have actually downloaded the rchelicopterfun.com e-guide (Setup and tips for 400 size) and used those settings. They seem nice and tame.

I am also using the RADD field manual and going according to that. My only problem is that the floor of my garage is not smooth, so the training kit doesn't slide so nicley - Iam looking for a new venue to use for training.

Craig don't worry about the smothness, get a fairly sturdy cardboard box and open it out and lay that down (if you can tape it down or similar, even better!) you can use pretty much anything you like as long as it stays in place, even a square of 1/8th inch ply!!!
