Trottle problem

I have a Honey Bee King 3 and I am having a trottle problem. Sometimes the trottle works fine and the heli will trottle up to full speed and sometimes I can trottle halfway and the blades won't spin at all until I pass halfway and the heli wont lift. The battery is fully charged and Esky told me to change the ESC and I did and that did not help. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem might be? Thanks.

Hi, hiker1:
Are you sure you have the correct  throttle/pitch curves?
If you are hovering, set both knobs (hover/trim and pitch) at center point, then try hovering if you notice too much speed in the head, slide the hover trim to next dot clokwise (one position to the right) and keep the pich "cero".
If you steel have the "super 370" on board, this is gona bee the problem. Change to brushless. but if  you have a it already then try all the electronics with a diferent radio set so you really know if you are facing an  electronic trouble or a mechanical one which may be too much tension on the tail or motor too tight to the transmision.
Good luck!

Hi, hiker1:

Curves are not adjustable for that radio... it is what it is for that.

Is your throttle trim all the way down? it can act 'lazy' or 'late' on the throttle. move the trim up.

Is your pinion gear (on the motor) tight??

If all else fails, I'm willing to bet you have a bum battery... You may think it's fully charged, but a junked battery can act this way too. Don't over discharge the battery and charge it 1 hour AFTER you've been flying... In other words, let the battery cool down first before a recharge.
