Help tuning tt36

I have a raptor 30 with a tt36 and a 0.S. #8 plug. I am having a problem with tuning the mid range of engine. I have tried everything and if I put a new plug in it it will run for about 4 flights and then it starts to die all of the sudden when I reach about hover throttle and it keeps doing it until I change the plug and then we get a few more good flights until it starts all over again. I have a temp gun and I am running about 230 on the high side. And I think the low end is close also.
Thanks for any help.

Do a search on Spaceman Spiff's recent posts. He had a TT36 and modified the needle valve somehow. You'll see my post on that thread too, where I gave up and got an OS32, a very reliable engine. Good luck, I had similar problems with mine and sold it.
