I found (what I think) is a good deal on a Kyosho Caliber 30 on CL. But since I know nothing about helis I want to make sure that I will be able to find parts for it when I inevitably, crash it.
-I did search for parts on google and found a few parts sites but not enough to tell me that parts are going to remain available? Do they still make parts for it?

I just went to their website, http://kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/index.html looks like they no longer make Nitro helis, electric only now.

It's a good heli and parts are still available for it but the parts have always been a bit on the expensive side. You are better off finding something with cheaper parts.

A very current 30 sized heli is the Century Hawk Pro. It is easy to set-up for any type of flying, training, sport aerobatics, scale or 3D.
Not only does it fly very well, but it is easy to set-up, easy to maintain because nothing seems to wear, and easy & inexpensive to repair because it is one sturdy little bird so not too many parts break in a mishap.
