hello all.
while helping my father in law move, we came across an old schluter mini boy.
inside the box it was in was three different length tail booms, its currently built with the longest of the three.
also in the box was a never started os max 46 and a ball shapped "silencer"
theres no radio in it, and all the linkage is in the box, just not installed, however i have all the manuals.
i plan on taking some pictures and posting them in the next day or so.
i have about 50 questions, but ill keep them to a minimum
for starters, theres a bunch of servos in the box, will they work with new digital radios?
theres a gyro, but it looks like it should be in a muesem, i plan on replacing it, where do i start to find one? will one of any size work for this heli?
and last, where would i be able to find some good replacement blades, either carbon, or wood would be preferable.
ive flown co-axials before, and fixed pitch, but never collective pitch, and ive never really worked on any heli, so all of this is a great learning experiance.
any other advice on ANYTHING pretaining to this heli is appriciated.
ps i also scored a nice LMH 100 or 110 i think, it runs on a cox 051 with a throttle ring.
not bad payment for moving some furniture

If you do not know how to fly, I strongly encourage you to set the Miniboy aside and learn with something modern. It would be a crime to crash that thing right off the bat. Replacement parts are NOT easy to come by. Some people may pay top dollar for a mint condition Miniboy if you ever decide to sell it. Just have to hook up with the right person.
