Default Thunder Tiger Raptor X50 pitch problem

The X50 uses a 3 servo 120 degree eCCPM system to control the swashplate. I set up the heli and while programming the radio (which is a spekrum dx7) I was shocked to find that if I have the elevator and ailerons set corrected the pitch is backwards. When I move the stick all the way the blades go to a negitive pitch. I scractched my head and tried all kinds of stuff to change it. Finally I got out my trex 450, which works fine with the DX7 and tried to figure out the difference. I found it, the blade grips on the trex have the control horns on the trailing edge, while the Raptor has them on the leading edge, effectively reversing the control. At first I thought maybe I had built the head incorrectly but I checked the manual and I have it right.
I set the pitch backwards in the transmitter and that works, it actually flys just fine, but it really bugs me to have it set up that way. Plus I will often fine tune the wrong direction.
Has anyone else delt with this? Why would TT design it that way? Is there a way to change something so I don't have my pitch curves backwards?

Some work that way, no biggie, just reverse the pitch number in the swashplate menu.
